Boys are DIAGNOSED with ADHD at 3 times higher rather than girls. This doesn’t mean that ADHD is more prevalent in boys, just that its criminally underdiagnosed in girls. 

It’s commonly acknowledged that there are differences in how girls and boys exhibit their symptoms, with boys tending to externalize it and girls tending to internalize it (lending to higher rates of anxiety and depression). 

ADHD is considered to be a physically hyper boys’ condition so girls are left to suffer in silence, or misdiagnosed as BPD or Bipolar.
