transformers has its fans conditioned to not question the characters ridiculous names. we will have serious conversations about characters named shit like “chromedome.”

you want to know why his name is “chromedome?” because he’s a robot (chrome) and he’s a brain surgeon that used to forcibly alter people’s memories for the government (dome) 

of course, that’s just the reason given by the modern stuff. back when they made the toy in the 80s the reason his name is “chromedome” is because someone thought it would be funny to name a robot after a mean name for a bald person. 

oh, also, because his head came off. his head came off and turned in to a little man named stylor.

stylor is named stylor because he’s a hair stylist.
