Intellectuals: A lot of Steven’s trauma stems from mistakes Rose made thousands of years in the past before she ever even knew what a child was, but becoming responsible for the happiness of three adults who idolized one of his parents and infantized the other, mostly refused to partake in or try to understand his culture, made him feel responsible for his mother’s death, simultaneously expected too much from him and frequently dismissed him and isolated him from normal human society to the point that he barely had any friends his own age through his entire childhood/adolescence probably did more harm than anyone wants to admit
